Description
800 I/O Extended Module Termination Unit (MTU) for ABB Ability System 800xA and AC 800M / Advant Controller systems. Passive unit for connection of field wiring to S800 I/O modules. Supports up to 16 I/O channels and two process voltage connections. Each channel has two I/O connections and one ZP connection. Process voltage connected to two individually isolated groups, each with 6.3A fuse. Maximum rated voltage 50VDC, maximum rated current 2A per I/O channel. Distributes ModuleBus to I/O module and to the next MTU. Generates correct address to I/O module by shifting outgoing position signals. Compatible with I/O modules AI810, AO810, DI810, DO810 and many others. DIN rail mounting, IP20. Mechanical keying prevents insertion of incorrect I/O modules. Dielectric test voltage 500VAC. ATEX Zone 2, UL 61010-1, marine certified (ABS, BV, DNV-GL, LR), RoHS compliant.
